Water plays a major role in the detoxification of your body. Detoxification is essential in order for waste to be removed. Hence, the water that aids the detoxification process is best only utilized properly in its purest form.

To get pure water, water needs to go through a filtration process so that harmful chemical agents are removed.

Water is a natural solvent, transporter, lubricant, and coolant. Hence it is an ideal aid in the detoxifying our bodies. Water is also an electro-negative enhancer, meaning that it uses the space between red blood cells optimally; this helps to reduce clotting and heart disease problems.

It aids in the removal of waste and toxins from the bloodstream, creating an environment within the body that is able to reduce water retention and aid in weight loss.

In order for these beneficial qualities to be engaged, the water that we drink needs to be clean and pure of toxins itself. Pure water is filtered water, not mineral or spring water which contains materials that cannot be broken down by the body.

This may be confusing since minerals are supposed to be good for us, right? In fact, only organic minerals can be assimilated by the body, and spring and mineral water components are inorganic.

To get pure water, you need to find out where your water has been or is coming from.

Distilled water is considered to be the ultimate in water purity, especially if fractional distillation is used. The water is vaporized and recondensed so that all minerals and chemicals are removed.

It will certainly be more economical to filter your own water than buy it packaged. And it is easy to do in your own home.

There are several ways to go about purifying your home's water; absorbent filters made of carbon or charcoal, ion-exchange filters, and reverse osmosis systems.

The best way to determine which method will work best for your home is to have the water tested to see exactly what pollutants are contained in it.

There are many methods of filtration and you need to find out which method is best for the water that you are going to be drinking.
